Norsk Kjernekraft signerer samarbeidsavtale om

Motivasjonen for dette er behovet for trygge, bærekraftige og effektive løsninger for langlivet radioaktivt avfall, både i Norge – hvor fire forskningsreaktorer har produsert langlivet radioaktivt avfall som må deponeres dypt under bakken – og internasjonalt.

Norsk Kjernekraft wishes to, in collaboration with third parties, develop and site a full-scale demonstration facility of deep-borehole disposal of long-lived radioactive waste and in the longer run an actual disposal facility using the same technology.
